It was good for a few giggles though and all was not lost in th process. And yes, I agree lighting is important I'm just not sure how it works. When I first did it the film footage was too bright and the kids were getting lost in the clip. When I covered up the light form outside it was much better. Obviously there is a light balance here of course I'm just no expert on explaining it. I can see though how shadows (depth?) would be important. Thanks again Steve. I appreciate your support.K Lirenmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16058037226665551154noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5730514995199630178.post-58383494737943396142013-08-05T08:26:30.080-07:002013-08-05T08:26:30.080-07:00HI K, Great tutorial. A heads up - kids should not wear green that is similar to the background as this can have the background cover their bodies. Lighting is also important so that Shadows are not ignored in the combining of the images ;-)
SLiving Mathshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05666185287008649540noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5730514995199630178.post-86916574586608500102013-08-04T07:22:04.850-07:002013-08-04T07:22:04.850-07:00Cool. Group projects do seem like the best way to tackle this issue. I'm thinking of using this with my 4th graders to take pictures of different areas in the school and then film them stating the rules for the specific area.

EricaShepherd's Shining StarsMrs. Shepherdhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05891907500674949205noreply@blogger.com
